Darcy Clarkson is a member of the British Brotherhood of Assassins active in London during the 21st century.
Darcy traveled to London later her brother Lucas broke a truce with the Templars by entering the city and went missing.[1] [two] Darcy allied with the hacker collective DedSec in lodge to rescue him[3] and continue the Tomb of Assassins from being claimed by Templar Graham Westerly.[four] She would afterwards join DedSec.[five]
Darcy is a descendant of Jacob and Evie Frye.[6]
Biography
Inspired by the acts of their Victorian era ancestors in liberating London from its stranglehold under G Master Crawford Starrick and the British Templars, Lucas wanted to follow their footsteps and take the fight to the resurgent Templars in London. This caused friction with Darcy, who warned him that the British Brotherhood was too weak to fight dorsum, though he in turn chided her for not showing initiative like their forbearers and warned his sister to not follow him.[i]
Despite his warning, he knew she would follow so he marked intel and left audio files behind for her. Darcy was angry at Lucas at first, just later attempted to apologize.[1] Though she threatened to leave London without him, she ultimately decided to stay until they could both leave.[ii]
Darcy was soon contacted past the Templar Graham Westerly, who had captured Lucas, and she attempted to negotiate for his release. Westerly declined, seeing more than value in the data Lucas held. Darcy eventually located Lucas and Westerly, and allied with DedSec to attempt a rescue, with DedSec treatment the hacking and determining Lucas' precise location in Albion Station Kennington while she would handle the infiltration and retrieval.[iii]
Hacking into the camera feed for interview room 2XB, Darcy and the DedSec operative accompanying her witnessed Lucas strapped to a chair and connected to a machine, while Graham paced in and out of photographic camera view, talking about how his team was attempting to breach the tomb. Lucas died from his injuries on camera, sending Darcy into a rage, but Bagley warned that security had been notified nearly them and information technology was meliorate to make themselves scarce.[3]
They went to the tomb's location at the Buckingham Palace grounds, where a nifty number of agents were scouring the identify. The DedSec operative neutralised the security squad guarding the tomb and scrambled the security organization to buy Darcy more time to enter the tomb. She entered the tunnels and made her way to the tomb proper, finding also an entrance to an Isu vault. There, she establish an Assassin outfit which she put on just in time to eavesdrop voices coming from the tomb.[4]
Furious that Darcy had breeched his security, Westerly yelled at his Templar entourage, ordering them to discover Darcy and impale her on sight. Darcy dealt with the guards, constitute Westerly, and assassinated him with her Hidden Blade.
